Young Friends of the Earth Europe is seeking a Coordinator, to support a growing and diverse network of young activists, working on environmental and social justice issues in more than 20 countries across Europe.

Based in the Friends of the Earth Europe office in Brussels, full time, one year fixed contract with possibility of renewal, to ideally start from 1st January, 2020.

Deadline for applications: October 29th 2019, 09:00 CET (Central European Time).

In August, YFoEE and Bundjugend (Young Friends of the Earth Germany) organised Camp For Future, a climate camp in the coal-mining region in the west of Germany. This event became a huge gathering of young activists from all Europe, where they participated and ran many workshops and activities related to the social and environmental justice movement. We asked some of them about the global climate strikes, and reflections on their environmental activism.

Young Friends of the Earth Europe is a grassroots network of young people and youth organisations working collectively for social and environmental justice on a local, national and European level. We organise events and inspire young people to take action on issues ranging from climate change, food and agriculture and education for sustainability – to ensure the voices of young people are heard in Europe and beyond.
